The Development Process of your Dream Home

Now comes the fun part when you can watch your dreams come to life. Most of our communities follow a similar plan as they move toward development. Here is what typically happens once you have chosen the model and interior selections for your Royal home:
Step 1 - Roads
Roads are built, including services for water, sewers, gas and hydro. Much of this is controlled by the municipality and the utility companies.
Step 2 - Foundation
Your site is excavated – the foundation and concrete footings are poured.
Step 3 - Walls
Exterior and interior walls are framed and the sub-floors are built.
Step 4 - Windows & Doors
Your windows and doors are framed and installed – roofing and exterior walls are completed.
Step 5 - Heating, Electrical & Plumbing
Experienced professionals install your insulation as well as your heating, electrical and plumbing services.
Step 6 - Interior Installations
Once the drywall is completed the seams are taped. Your walls are then primed and painted, followed by the installation of your cabinets, countertops, trim and flooring selections.
Step 7 - Property Grading
Property is graded so that water flows away from the foundation of your home and the neighbouring homes. The Royal team will monitor the settlement of your lot throughout the first year to ensure that water continues to flow away from your foundation.
